There are two options for taking a class with Tallahassee SCUBA through Life Worth Leading, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Regardless of your preference, please complete the online registration form. The registration form has all the pricing information. We offer military and first responder discounts, scholarships for people with disabilities, and more.
1. Join a Scheduled Group Class
Our next group class begins in early April, so register soon if you would like to join the Open Water SCUBA certification course.
- Textbook, workbook, log book, dive table, carrying case
- Instruction, pool sessions, 5 checkout dives (4 SCUBA dives + 1 skin dive)
- Certification card, gear, and more
Bring a dive buddy and you will each get $15 off! To secure a slot in the class, please complete the online registration form. You can take the Enriched Air Nitrox course as an add-on to Open Water.
2. Request a Private Class
Set your own schedule with a private class (pricing is per person and appears on the registration form). Private classes are usually one-on-one or 2–4 students, but we can also accommodate larger private groups.

Upcoming Courses
Advanced Open Water
The next Advanced Open Water class Gabrielle is offering is in April in Tallahassee, Panama City, and Williston, Florida. Another class will be offered in May or June in Palm Beach, Florida.
The class includes 5 SCUBA dives, including a navigation dive, night dive, and deep dive (up to 100'). Space is limited, so contact Gabrielle ASAP if you would like to take the class.

Enriched Air Nitrox
The next Enriched Air Nitrox class that Gabrielle will be offering includes lecture, exam, and two checkout dives in April.

Diver Rescue and Accident Management (DRAM)
The next DRAM class will take place in May. The class includes instruction, materials, checkout dives, and certification card.
Prerequisites are First Aid, Oxygen Provider, and CPR. We offer a combination lifesaving class with all prerequisites as well as DRAM. Divers must also have earned Advanced Open Water certification or logged 10 dives after Open Water.

Diving First Aid for Professional Divers – DFA Pro
The next DFA Pro course will take place in April. This course is through Divers Alert Network and is aimed at commercial, professional, scientific divers, aquarium staff, and volunteers. Gabrielle, Ronny, and Victor are instructors for Divers Alert Network.
The course includes First Aid, CPR, Oxygen Provider, Neurological Assessment, Hazardous Marine Life Injuries, and Bloodborne Pathogens.
It meets current Guidelines for Resuscitation from the International Liaison Council on Resuscitation (ILCOR) as issued by its member organizations including:
- American Heart Association (AHA)
- European Resuscitation Council (ERC)
- Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada
- Australia New Zealand Council on Resuscitation (ANZCOR)
- Resuscitation Council of South Africa
- InterAmerican Heart Foundation
- Resuscitation Council of Asia

Search and Recovery
The next Search and Recovery class will take place in May. The current class will be having more pool sessions and training dives soon.
HSA Dive Buddy
The next HSA Dive Buddy class that Gabrielle will offer will be in May. This course is through HSA – Handicapped SCUBA Association. It is excellent for anyone who wants to work with people with disabilities, and we specialize in helping dive professionals become more accessible.
